When nothing is changing
This is not for me
Just a hope of something more
I need more than a maybe
Lukewarm doesn't heat me
It's not that I'm impatient
It's that I feel too much
And you do not feel enough
It's hard to forget
It's hard to move forward
When it hasn't happened yet
I need to be shown something
That I've never known before
I need to feel encountered
Someone to believe in me
Someone to take a chance
I want to be chosen
Despite all circumstance
